Starting our Spring garden

We are very fortunate at Suzuki to have the upstairs garden so we did some planting with seeds today to get our garden started in our classroom. It was very interesting because the children wanted to play with the tools and the soil before we planted our seeds.

They started by investigating for worms.

They also decided to make a volcano.

They worked together to plant the seeds.

James went in to get his water bottle to water the seeds he planted.

They all took turns watering the seeds.
