Why is the sunflower dying?

We went to visit the upstairs garden last week so the children could see how the vegetable plants we planted in the Spring have grown. They were very fascinated with the sunflower and Isabella asked the question, "Why is the sunflower dying?" This sparked lots of questions from the children so together we will be investigating why the sunflower plant is dying.
