The importance of play throughout the summer

Play is the foundation of our program. Researchers are in universal agreement that play provides a strong foundation for creativity, intellectual growth, and problem solving. Take the time throughout the summer to engage in your child's play. When you engage in your child's play you will see that your child is learning by sharing their discoveries, asking questions and making creations. By responding to your child's play and asking open ended questions you are helping your child to make powerful connections.
