The importance of music
Music is a very important part of our program. The children have the opportunity to use musical instruments everyday in our classroom. We also sing and dance everyday and the children love it. Whether we are indoors or out you our children enjoy making music with others. Making music with others gives children a wonderful feeling of belonging to a group. New research shows that music has a positive influence on young children's cognitive skills such as spatial reasoning and memory. Research also shows that providing children with a rich and stimulating environment involving all the senses can support children's growth and development.
Eva and Abbey made invitations to their concert and worked on a sign for their show.
