More grandparents day photos

We love our Grandparents!

What an amazing two days we had with our wonderful grandparents. The children had so much confidence as they performed for them by singing and dancing. They had an opportunity to show them our classroom and help them plant a tomato plant to take home for their garden. We ended the morning with refreshments and dessert.

A wonderful memory for grandparents

The children had so much fun having their feet painted and making this keepsake for their grandparents. They loved walking on paper and creating a beautiful masterpiece.

Making a habitat for our tadpoles

The children did some research to figure out what habitat would be the best for tadpoles that arrived at our school this week. By working together they have put together the perfect home to track them and watch them grow.

Cleaning up our rooftop garden

The children were so excited about cleaning our upstairs garden. We are getting ready to plant our vegetable seeds this week so we decided to start the process of getting our garden ready. We investigated lots of interesting bugs that are living in our garden.

Looming with Tracey Summerfield

What a wonderful opportunity for our children to make hats for newborn babies. Tracey Summerfield of LeeLee Hats spent the morning teaching our friends how to loom and they loved it.

Baking with the Duncans

It was so wonderful this week to have Will's mom and grandparents join us for making pretzels. Some of our children were very creative in their designs and they were so delicious!
