Play Clay in Nature

Making the batch of play clay (salt dough) was just the beginning.
Bringing the clay out on a nature walk gave the children a chance to try new things with it.

The clay could still be sculpted and transformed, but nature has a way of inspiring new ideas!
Like...tree bark impressions.

And ways to stick twigs together.
And leaf impressions.
A miniature forest.

A campfire with marshmallows and yummy leaf sandwiches.

Creative clay
and a marvelous day!
