Our creative children continue to impress us with all their amazing creations. They inspire and help each other to use the materials in so many creative ways.

Our Compost

The children have been very interested in what our worms do that live in our classroom. They had lots of interesting questions and did their own investigation of them on the light table. We also compared them to the earth worms that live outside.

Cleaning up our school yard

Now that Spring is finally here we started our Spring clean up outdoors. The children were excited about helping to clean the front of our yard and stopping to look for signs of Spring.

With so many things happening in our room and not being able to capture every moment I must say it is great to see what the children are videotaping throughout our day. I love that they are taking photographs and taking video of the amazing things that are happening. Here are some video clips from last week.

Our creative builders

Our children love to work on building projects in our classroom. They give each other ideas and work together to create these very impressive structures. We love listening to how each part works and how they connected the pieces to build it. By giving children the opportunity to engage in play for large blocks of time they have the opportunity to create without the pressure of having to rush.
