Exploring nature at Suzuki

The girls loved the opportunity to climb.

They started to dig in the mulch to see if they could find any bugs.

It was very interesting to investigate the roots of this weed.

Then it was off to the hill.

Where they discovered the sand pit.

The girls decided to write their names in the sand.

They found a caterpillar.

Emily started to draw what she was seeing on the hill.

They were really excited when they began investigating the front of the school.

The best part was opening them up and discovering the seeds inside them.

They were very interested in all the different sizes of rocks.

We had a wonderful discussion about what was at the top of this pole.

The girls even began to make music on the pole.

The bee captured their attention when it landed on this flower.

The girls ended the day with getting Mr.St.Onge full of seeds, thank goodness I was the one behind the camera.

High Jinks Fun

We hope our families have been enjoying the summer so far and your children are starting to get excited about going back to school. Mrs. St.Onge and I are starting our outings with our nieces this week and because of the heat outdoors today we decided a great place to start would be at High Jinks.

This is my son with my niece.

High Jinks is located at Tecumseh Rd and Manning. It offers a variety of activities for children. It is wonderful place to bring kids to enjoy some physical activity.  You can sit back and watch or engage in play with your children. My niece was on the go all day and loved meeting lots of new children!
