Big Block Play

Sharing space and resources in the wonderful world of kindergarten gives us a LARGE area for our BIG BLOCKS!  Ooohhhh the worlds that have been built.


Plans are made on COLLOSAL chart paper.  Thinking, negotiating, wondering, friend-making... considering.


MASSIVE mountains for MAMMOTH dinosaurs build MAJOR muscles and mathematical minds.

TREMENDOUS travelers FULL of fancy, flying through the galaxy, feeling like they can go anywhere and do anything.


               Conquering, climbing, carrying, co-operating.



CROWDED, problem solving, conflict resolving.

Buckets CHOCK FULL of small blocks, block area BRIMMING with play.


Parking lots PACKED and SENSATIONAL stories.


BIG BLOCKS equals BRAWNY muscles and BRAINY children!
