A Group Project

More Eco Art inspiration came to us from the contents of a box. Leftover gingerbread house kits were opened and the pieces were taken out.  Mrs. St. Onge gathered a group of interested children and they talked about what they might build. We were over-the-moon when the group decided they were going to build a Colasanti's!  Oh the memories!
Many stories were shared as the children worked at building their version of Colasanti's. They recalled there was a golf course, a barn area where they ran with a deer and all the places we visited on our field trip there.  Boys and girls fashioned small animals from plasticine and gathered materials from around the room and outdoors to bring a realistic look to their project. They even included a pond with ducks!

Some of the girls gathered to make a sign to display with their Colasanti's Eco Art.

Every day we are impressed with the boys and girls, how much they know and what they want to accomplish in their wonderful world of kindergarten!
