A Spring Walk

The children, clipboards in hand, were recording signs of Spring on our walk. One of the things they noticed, was the amount of garbage that the melted snow revealed.
That definitely needed to be recorded!

The Pussy Willow Tree was filled with soft, furry buds.

Partnered in teams of an SK and a JK, the children worked together to print and draw their findings.

An idea was inspired by the soft, furry buds...
we'll be finding some of the fallen twigs from this tree in our art studio!

Another nature walk is not far off.
What changes will the children notice?
