Maia and her mother energized our art studio with a brand new activity.
This was a whole new way to sew!
The children were invited to draw on brightly coloured canvas
and then stitch over their designs.
Hoops were used to hold the fabric nice and tight.
Mrs. Fields shared what she knew and offered help to the children
as they learned a new skill.
They caught right on!
Miss Wilkins, our student educator, was on hand
to lend a hand for this very popular centre!
