A Taste of France

The children measured all the ingredients they needed to make traditional ham and cheese or lemon crepes.

They had the opportunity to use two different types of mixers to make the crepes. Their favourite was this hand mixer. Most of the children hadn't seen this type of mixer before. What wonderful conversations we had about technology, tradition and inventions!

Like father... like son.
We could definitely tell that Shawn helped his parents make lots of crepes while they were in France.

The special ingredient that Shawn's mom added was fresh lemon juice over the powered sugar. The lemon crepes were topped off with a spoonful of whipped cream. The wonderful world of kindergarten smelled as delicious as the crepes tasted. Mmmmmmmm!

They were such a big hit!

We couldn't have asked for a more delectable way for Shawn and his family to share their experience in France with the wonderful world of kindergarten!
